Rutina de mañana vs. noche para la piel en verano

Morning routine vs. night for skin in summer

Detailed and rigorous description, written in Spanish, about the crucial differences between day and night facial routine during the summer.

The summer demands what dermatologists call “changing the cosmetic closet”. Just as you keep the wool shelter and remove the linen, your skin does not tolerate thick winter blankets. The strategy changes radically: in the morning we defend ourselves (from the sun and oxidation) and by night we repair (cell damage and dehydration).

  1. Mañana Rutina (AM): El Escudo Ligero

Objective: Antioxidant and photoprotection. The skin will face UV radiation, heat, sweat and pollution. We don’t want “covers” that suffocate the pore.

Step 1: Gentle Cleansing (soil water)

The concept: If you have a good nighttime cleanse, for the morning your skin is not dry, you only have some sebum and leftover nighttime cosmetics.

The product: Use a mild water cleaner (Syndet) or a light foam. If your skin is very dry, a little thermal water and tap drying may be enough.

Avoid: Physical exfoliants or cleansers with strong acids for the morning in summer, as this leaves your skin more vulnerable to the immediate sun.

 Step 2: Antioxidant (Vitamin C)

The concept: The sunscreen does not block 100% free radicals. The antioxidant is the “safety red” that neutralizes what happens.

The product: A Vitamin C serum (ascorbic acid at 10-15%) or Ferulic Acid.

Why: Provides luminosity (the famous glow) and prevents the sun from breaking collagen or activating blemishes.

Step 3: Hydration (Optional / Sorbete Texture)

The concept: In summer, with humidity and sweat, a lot of skin (mixed/greasy) “sucks” with the moisturizer.

The product: If needed, look for gel-cream textures or Hyaluronic Acid serums.

The trick: If your sunscreen is moisturizing, skip this step. Less is bad.

 Step 4: Photoprotection (El Rey)

El concepto: Sin estoy, nothing previous matters.

The product: broad spectrum SPF 50+.

Texture: In summer, look for “Water Fusion”, “Dry Touch” or “Invisible Fluid” formulas. You must resist sweat and not sting your eyes.

  1. Night Routine (PM): Deep Cleansing and Repair

Objective: Remove resistant solar filters (which are designed to stick to the skin) and repair the skin barrier damaged by the sun and air conditioning.

 Step 1: Double Cleaning (Obligatory)

The concept: A normal gel does not remove waterproof sunscreen or excess sebum during the summer. You need grease to remove grease.

Step 1.1 (Oily base): Use a balm or makeup remover oil. Massage dry. You will see how to remove makeup and sunscreen. Lighten with water.

Step 1.2 (Water-based): Now use your usual cleansing gel. This cleans the pore of sweat and pollution.

Step 2: Transformative Treatment (With head)

The Retinol dilemma: Can you use it in summer? Yes, if your skin is accustomed (retinized). But no empieces of wax in July.

     Summer alternatives:

Azelaic Acid: Best for summer. Treats granite, rubble and stains, and is not photosensitizing.

Niacinamide: Regulates grease (which is triggered by heat) and calms the skin after the sun.

Alphahydroxy acids (AHA): If you use Glicolico, lower the concentration or frequency. The skin is more sensitive.

Step 3: Barrera Recovery (Real Hydration)

The concept: The sun and dehydrated air conditioning. At night, the skin goes into regeneration mode and loses more water.

The product: Here you can use a slightly more comforting (but not heavy) cream.

Key ingredients: Ceramides, Panthenol (Vit B5), Centella Asiatica (Cica) or Peptides. We seek to “cover the edges” of the cement of the skin so that the jugosa remains.

  1. Errors to avoid when changing AM/PM

  1. Use exfoliating acids every morning: In summer, never. Leave them for the night and with caution.
  2. Don't wash your face at night “because I don't have makeup”: The sunscreen is invisible but occlusive. If you don't remove it with double cleanliness, you will have black spots and erased skin secured.
  3. Use the night cream throughout the day: Night creams may contain photosensitive ingredients (which degrade in light) or are too greasy, which will cause the sunscreen to “slip” and not protect you well.

For the morning, your face should feel light and prepared for the battle against the sun. At night, you should feel clean (“breathe”) and comfortable to regenerate while you sleep.
